Tourism needs you now more than ever….

This is an unprecedented time in our history. The COVID-19 pandemic is having an impact on the health of our loved ones, the businesses we rely upon, the health of the global economy, and the way we live our daily lives. As we all continue to navigate through these unique and evolving challenges, we want you to know that Nalah Africa is here for you.

During this crisis, I’ve witnessed such kindness, community cohesion and incredible support from clients and travel partners.

As we address a pandemic that will no doubt become a chapter in the history books, our commitment to you will not waver.

What a riotous time the past few weeks have been for all of us. We are living through unprecedented times as I write this. As we all try and adjust to this lockdown, our thoughts go to the brave people who are working night and day to try and stave off a massive rise in infections. We also urge everybody to adhere to the strict conditions of the lockdown.

As a universal family, it’s clear that, for now, we should all stay at home and not travel in order to fight the spread of Coronavirus. But, when the time comes, travel and tourism will be very important activities in the recovery process.
Across Africa and around the world, tourism is crucial. It plays a vital role in sustainable development, conservation, employment, international understanding and economic growth. For tourism businesses to survive they will need international tourists to give them hope and to help them with their recovery, so that they, in turn can support and sustain their local communities and natural environments.

It might feel as if we have lost control of our lives, what we were doing and what we were comfortable with as we isolate for three weeks but that control will return. Covid-19 is not a permanent feature. Survival mode will be tough. It will wound the mind but not forever.

Please postpone you travel arrangements, do not cancel. Tourism needs you now more than ever.

Africa is calling, see you all soon.
Safari Regards
